Capcom will always be famous for its beat em ups with Streetfighternaturally taking
top spot. Darkstalkers was another quality fightinggame from the arcades but don't
think it made quite the sameimpression.
As with Streetfighter's Puzzle Fighter, Magical Hammer brings puzzlingto the Darkstalkers
series. The game is split into about 20 levels orso with every other level being a boss
challenge. The standard levelsinvolve simple block matching until you have filled the colour
gaugesat the top of the screen. This is where the hammer comes in. The gridis always full
but you can rearrange the blocks by nudging a row to oneside. The block that drops off will
appear at the top and hopefully youwill have nudged one of the other blocks to create a match.
Match threeor more of the same colour and they disappear. Bonus points and chainsare available.
