CADlink Technology Corp. is pleased to announce the release of their
newest signmaking software: SignLab e6.
SignLab e6, the latest incarnation of the award winning SignLab product
line, is a full sign design, layout, and production package. In addition
to some unique new features, e6 is loaded with technology for vinyl
cutting, and digital printing. e6 is also the only signmaking software
that provides e-commerce tools.
SignLab e6 features a reworked user interface that allows the user
increased flexibility and a cleaner workspace. While e6’s "Smart Bar"
reduces unnecessary screen clutter, the new dockable tool bars and
customizable hot keys allow the user to tailor their software to their
personal taste.
As for design tools, SignLab e6 remains at the top of the class. Some of
the improvements include multi colour gradient fills, instant relief
shadows, multiple text selections, and a ginsu knife tool. e6 also
features an incredible new tool for creating a chisel effect for vinyl
graphics.
CADlink has also greatly improved SignLab’s output capabilities, and e6
now features a cut preview, block nesting, Postscript Level 3 printing, a
cut time estimator, and a cut tool tracker.
Perhaps the most interesting additions to SignLab are the new e-commerce
tools. Provided through an Internet portal called "Signtopia", the SignLab
user can now create, manage and host a company website online. Signtopia
also has a feature for sending proofs and quotes electronically via the
Internet.
These services are subscription based, and every e6 user gets them free
for 6 or 12 months. CADlink has also created a facility called
"Portfolios". This is a fully customizable online catalog that the user
can set up to allow their repeat customers to order signs online.
