'World Percussion Soundtrack 2' follows on from the best-selling library
from Samplephonics, 'World Percussion Soundtrack 1'. This interactive sample
library for Kontakt contains a selection of traditional ethnic percussion
grooves with a contemporary twist.
All the sounds can be mixed, manipulated, intelligently looped and tempo-
synced via the custom Kontakt GUI for ultimate flexibility.
Styles range from Latin Grooves to Middle Eastern percussion, African Drumming
and contemporary percussion styles.
All the grooves have been played by percussionist Chis Wells, who has worked
with Ivan Lins, Paul McCartney, Luciano Pavarotti, Carla Bley & Steve Swallow,
Robert Plant, Charlie Wood, Walmir Gil, Marcus Valle, Andy Sheppard, London
Symphony Orchestra, John Adams, Randy Brecker, Nelson Rangell, John Harle,
Karl Jenkins, London Sinfonietta, London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as
producing and composing for his international quartet, AZUL, and many more.
