Install SIMPACK. If no OLicense Server is running from previous installation of SIMPACK: - Tick the "OLicenseServer" checkbox on component tab - Keep the "Start Server" checkbox selected in final dialog of OLicense server setup. - In OLicense Server Controller window, press "Install As Service (Requires Admin Privileges)" - Close OLicense Server Controller If OLicense server is already running: - Dont tick "OLicenseServer" checkbox on component tab - Stop OLicenseServer service with Task Manager - Services - OLicenseServer - right click = Stop server 2. Replace olicenseserver.exe from _SolidSQUAD_\LicenseServer\Windows to the directory where olicenseserver.exe is installed (typically C:\Program Files\Optimum GmbH\OLicenseServer\ for 32-bit and C:\Program Files (x86)\Optimum GmbH\OLicenseServer\ for 64-bit OS) 3. If port 80 is occupied by IIS or any other Web-server, overwrite the "olicenseserver.ini" from _SolidSQUAD_\ChangePort folder to the directory where olicenseserver.exe is installed (typically C:\Program Files\Optimum GmbH\OLicenseServer\ for 32-bit and C:\Program Files (x86)\Optimum GmbH\OLicenseServer\ for 64-bit OS) 4. Start OLicenseServer service with Task Manager - Services - OLicenseServer - right click = Start server 5. Open web browser and navigate to "http://localhost:80" to open OLicenseServer control interface. If "ChangePort" configuration is used, navigate to "http://localhost:81". On Import License activity, select SIMPACKAG_SSQ.olixml from _SolidSQUAD_ dir, press Import and wait a white screen with many "accepted" messages. Close web interface 6. Open Simpack, select Ignore on DSLS error prompt, go to "Extras - Licensing", select "OLicense" as License Type and "localhost:80" as license server. If "ChangePort" configuration is used, use "localhost:81" as license server 7.
