Flix is an application that uses a digital camera or webcam to create
time-lapse movies. Still pictures are captured every few seconds, minutes
or hours (whatever the user decides), then they are merged together as
frames in a time-lapse video. Some cool effects can be achieved this way.
Below is a video I made recently using Flix and here's one made by a
Flix customer of a very chilled out cat. Here is an amazing video in
high definition (not made using Flix) but good for ideas.
